Kinesis

Seth Jani

We give up the world of essence
and find instead a world of shifting forms.
Moment by moment,
the wind undoes its fractals
and becomes another wind,
another storm inside the valley.
After our belief in permanence
breaks from its center like a flame,
everything around us flows.
I kiss your body
and feel the rush of atoms
igniting on my tongue.
